What difference do it make. Ron Hall, Denver Moore, Lynn Vincent. Thomas Nelson. September 2009. Hardcover. 224 pages.
Once again I'm writing a review for the Thomas Nelson Book Review Blogger Program. I had the chance to read "What difference do it make?" This is the sequel to the very successful book "Same kind of difference as me" which was about the relationship between two friends - Ron and Denver. Denver was a homeless man and Ron was a successful art dealer. Ron's wife, Deborah, had a passion for the homeless and she befriended Denver. Sadly Deborah died of cancer in 2001. I haven't had a chance to read the first book, but I'm really looking forward to it.
This book talks about all that happened to Ron and Denver since the successful first book and it includes the back story on both men. There are also stories of how "Same kind of difference as me" inspired the people who have read it to reach out and serve others in ways that they never have before.
I was so touched by Ron and Denver's story and I couldn't stop reading. I love how this book tells of how important it is to show love and compassion towards others that are in need. This is a very heartwarming story and I definitely recommend it to others.
My Rating: 3/5 stars
